ABOUT HOLT CONSTRUCTION

In 1919, Fred L. Holt left the employment of William Randolph Hearst and began his own construction company in Pearl River, New York. Fred L. followed the philosophy that success is "99% sweat and 1% luck", which helped lead him through the depression and onto several milestones including, opening the first model home in America and inventing the first moveable partition system in the United State. In 1950, his son Fred A. Holt left his job at a major international contractor to lead the firm himself. He placed his focus on industrial, commercial and institutional work and Fred L. Holt, Inc flourished and grew. In 1975, Jack F. Holt took over the company's operations and guided the firm into the 21st century, with early computerization of all aspects of the business. Throughout our 80-year history, Holt Construction's mission has been to focus on quality workmanship, dependable service and competitive pricing. We strive to be "owner friendly", offering a close, professional-working relationship, adaptable to all our clients needs. The Holt organization has taken on tasks ranging from heavy industrial work, such as new stone processing facilities and automobile manufacturing plants, to retail, laboratory, computer and hospital facilities.
